Creative Partnerships

Flowers bring people joy, and I believe there are infinite ways to celebrate their beauty. My favorite partnerships are the ones that feel deeply collaborative where we create something fresh, original, and full of life together.

My creative life has always been shaped by collaboration. As both an actor and visual artist, I have spent decades working alongside directors, designers, musicians, choreographers, and creative teams to bring ideas to life. Theater taught me that the most meaningful work rarely happens alone. It emerges when different perspectives come together in service of a shared vision.

That same spirit guides my collaborations today. I am drawn to projects that expand our understanding of how pressed flowers can exist within high design. What excites me most is taking a medium traditionally associated with craft and reimagining it at scale, transforming real pressed flowers into works for interiors, fashion, collectible design, and immersive environments.

Every piece begins with real flowers. I personally gather, press, preserve, and compose each work by hand before it is photographed and translated into different mediums. Whether the final expression becomes wallpaper, textiles, porcelain, rugs, or large-scale installations, each begins as an original pressed flower artwork.

In an increasingly digital world, I remain deeply committed to the value of making things by hand. That connection to craftsmanship remains at the heart of everything I create.

Oscar de la Renta + Taylor Swift

Through Modern Pressed Flower, Tricia Paoluccio collaborated with Oscar de la Renta by providing original pressed flower artwork that inspired and was translated into custom textiles for the brand’s Fall 2021 collection. One gown became a global fashion moment when Taylor Swift wore the design while winning Album of the Year at the 2021 Grammy Awards, and the piece was later featured at The Metropolitan Museum of Art as part of In America: An Anthology of Fashion.

High Line Nine

In 2021, Paoluccio transformed a gallery at High Line Nine in Chelsea into an immersive botanical installation featuring a collection of her large-scale pressed flower artworks and a hand-customized Steinway grand piano. Created during the height of the pandemic, the exhibition offered visitors a sense of beauty, peace, and connection, earning three extensions due to popular demand.

The gallery also became a creative gathering place for musicians, dancers, and performers during the pandemic. As a performer herself, Paoluccio understood what was happening in the hearts of artists everywhere as theaters closed, performances were canceled, and creative communities were suddenly separated. She opened the gallery free of charge to fellow artists, offering a place to gather, create, and reconnect through their work. Among these collaborations was a music video she produced featuring pianist Chloe Flower and choreography by James Alonzo. The exhibition was recognized by Time Out New York as a must-see cultural destination.
